Restoration Plan

The goals of the restoration plan are to:

Increase indigenous dominance and species occupancy on Maungatautari by the sustained removal of introduced species and by translocations, so that the original and natural character of ecosystems is as far as possible restored and 

Increase the number of people who treasure the Sanctuary Mountain Maunga-tautari project and are involved with its operation.

Strategic Plan

This strategic plan indicates the direction that Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari is focussed upon over ten years. It was developed in collaboration with our key partners and reflects the aspirational goals that we collectively share for the maunga and for Waikato.

Social Impact Report

Experts in social impact measurement Huber Social and Impact Hub conducted surveys and interviews with volunteers and the community surrounding SMM to measure its social impact. See our news item for summary of findings.
