Volunteer

Sanctuary Mountain® Maungatautari has an amazing network of passionate supporters with over 200 registered community volunteers. These incredibly generous people give up their time to help restore Maungatautari and are the life force of our project.

Working with our volunteers is a very rewarding and fun experience. You will need to check the days and frequency of each task. We welcome volunteers who are able to give their time on any of the following bases:

  • for a regular number of hours on a particular day each week, fortnight, or month
  • for an agreed number of hours on any day each week, fortnight or month
  • for one off tasks periodically.

 

We have many different areas volunteers work within, giving a broad range of appeal to different interests and skillsets.  Fill in our questionaire .

The Manu Tioriori visitor centre is open from 9:00am to 4:00pm daily (closed 25th December). Entrance to the southern enclosure is available during Manu Tioriori visitor centre opening hours.
