Social & Environmental Sustainability Business Award

We are very pleased and proud to announce that Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari is the recent recipient of the Waikato Chamber of Commerce Social & Environmental Sustainability Business Award. 

As always, winning these awards are the culmination of many people’s contribution over many years.

So, with that in mind, congratulations to all our past and present partners, volunteers, staff and contractors who have contributed to our success!

In the words of our Judges: “Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari is leading and shaping an organisation that is moving to a more sustainable commercial position while also generating significant community and environmental outcomes”.
 
Whilst we are certainly not perfect, a key pillar of our organisation culture is excellence, our desire to keep improving. This I accredit to our Board’s leadership and our team of partners, volunteers, staff, and contractors, who embrace change and strive for improvement.

To conclude, I would like to share with you that I believe people so often confuse or interchange the words excellence & perfection. Quite simply, to strive for excellence, you certainly don’t have to be perfect – do you?
