Northern Enclosure reopening

We greeted 2022 with some fantastic news that the northern enclosure, at the top of Hicks Road, was reopening to the public from January 1st 2022. This is after almost 4 years of closure, but with the help and support of local council, landowners and local manawhenua the enclosure has been reopened to the public. Many will remember the loop track opening many years ago and have used that as fuel to visit the site once again.

Landowners and local councils have worked to put in a new path at the top of Hicks Road and to ensure the longevity of the surrounding land.
