Kia ora koutou,

Things are moving at pace here at the maunga. With kākāpō, the new Education Centre, wellbeing programmes, and returning international travellers all imminent in 2022, we have a sense of excitement and optimism for the year ahead.

Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari is a charitable trust and a community lead project at heart. As such, we are blessed with passionate and dedicated supporters, many of whom have donated both their time and resources to support the maunga.

However, Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari still needs your support! The last two years have been challenging.

Maintaining the maunga is a huge and ongoing task and we constantly strive to raise more than $1.5 million annually through funders, sponsorship, and donations.

So, how can you help?

By donating, you will help leave a legacy that is Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari, Aotearoa New Zealand’s most ambitious and inspirational ecological restoration story.
