Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari and Te Pūkenga, Toi Ohomai Cadetship 2023
Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari is a world-class conservation and ecotourism destination established in 2001. Showcasing an ancient, vibrant, pest-free forest, the 3363 ha maunga is alive with native wildlife, including many of Aotearoa’s rarest and most endangered taonga species.
We all have a job to help protect what has always been a sacred taonga (treasure), so why not enter the world of conservation and be the kaitiaki (guardian) for nature?
We are excited to announce that we are seeking 3 work placement rangers for the 2023 cadetship. This one-year part-time course is perfect for people who are already working in the industry or want to enter it. We have organisations that need learners to work as employees while studying. They're offering fixed-term work contracts to the correct applicants.
